A San Francisco native, Tanya brings over 15 years of property management experience to Community Forward SF. She is a licensed real estate agent and began her career in the state of Georgia where she primarily represented out-of-state investors from California in acquiring rental properties and securing good tenants. After returning home to San Francisco in 2007, Tanya began working in affordable housing property management with corporate investors and nonprofit affordable housing developers on new construction as well as low-income housing tax credit construction rehabs. She has managed market rate residential and commercial buildings for real estate investors throughout the Bay Area. Tanya has a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies and a minor in psychology from California State University, East Bay as well as a graduate certificate in mental health studies from Liberty University. With her interdisciplinary studies background and work experience, Tanya skillfully directs housing services that dovetail with mental health services. She is passionate about inspiring, empowering, and equipping people of all ages, genders, and backgrounds to succeed in life and maintain good mental health.
